We maintain a fleet of well-maintained, work-ready heavy equipment available for daily, weekly, and monthly rental. All equipment is properly serviced and ready to run when it arrives at your site.

Rent the equipment and handle the parts of the job you're comfortable doing yourself — then call Bay Builders to follow up behind you for anything outside your experience, from fine grading to septic and infrastructure work.

Compact tracked excavator — no CDL required to operate. Ideal for tight spaces, landscaping, utility work, and residential projects where a full-size machine would cause excess damage.
Full-size excavators for heavy earthwork, road building, septic installs, and site grading. Four models from 25,000 to 65,000 lbs including Kobelco, JD, and CAT. CDL required to transport.
Heavy tracked dozers for land clearing, pushing material, rough grading, and breaking through tough Idaho terrain. JD 450 LGP and JD 750L XLT models available.
JD 772H Motor Grader — 40,000 lb closed cab. Precision road grading and material spreading. Ideal for road maintenance, leveling surfaces, and achieving exact grade specs on larger sites.
Articulating wheel loaders for high-production loading and material handling. Multiple JD 624H and JD 544 models available with bucket, forks, or bucket + grapple configurations.
Sky Track 10054 — 29,000 lb telescoping boom forklift. Reaches where standard forklifts can't. Great for placing materials at height on building sites and rough terrain.
Vibratory smooth drum compactors for road bases, building pads, and backfill. 84" Dyna Pac (30,000 lb closed cab) and 60" Bomag (18,000 lb open cab) available.
2018 CAT 289D tracked skid steer — 8,100 lb closed cab, no CDL required to operate. Multiple attachment options: bucket, forks, auger, trencher, and more.
2006 Kubota 6040 — 9,500 lb open cab compact utility loader. Excellent for smaller jobs and tight sites where a full-size frontend loader is too large for the work.
Desite 110 Vibrating Screen — separates rock, roots, and debris from soil on-site. Ideal for producing clean fill, topsoil, or road base material without hauling offsite.
Truck-mounted water tank for dust control, soil compaction support, and site watering. CDL required to transport.
Flatbed and lowboy trailers, plus our own tractor trucks, for hauling equipment and materials to and from your site.

We'll put together a rental agreement covering dates, rates, delivery (if needed), and what's included. Deposit may be required for longer rentals.
Pick up the equipment at our Clark Fork location or arrange delivery to your site. We offer operator orientation so you're confident and safe running the machine.
